NDMA announces Ramadan 2026 weather forecast across Pakistan

The National Emergencies Operation Centre of the National Disaster Management Authority has issued its weather outlook for Ramadan 2026, bringing reassuring news for people across the country preparing for the holy month.

According to the federal disaster management body, most areas of Pakistan are likely to enjoy generally pleasant weather during Ramadan. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise gradually, while nights will remain relatively cool. This combination is expected to make fasting easier for many.

In the first Ashra, dry conditions are forecast for most parts of the country. However, light rain may fall in northern and western regions. Nights are likely to stay cold in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and northern Balochistan.

During the second Ashra, temperatures are predicted to climb slightly. Scattered rainfall is expected in northern areas, central Punjab, and the Pothohar region. Some places may also experience windstorms and isolated thunderstorms during this period.

In the last Ashra, rainfall is likely to become more widespread in several parts of the country, with intermittent showers continuing in northern Pakistan and central Punjab. As Ramadan draws to a close, temperatures are expected to rise noticeably in southern Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan.

The NDMA has stressed the need for early warnings and proper preparedness. It has advised the public and concerned departments to stay informed about changing weather patterns.

Overall, the forecast points to a mix of mild and warmer conditions throughout Ramadan, offering helpful guidance for those planning their fasting routines, travel, and outdoor activities across Pakistan.
