- Rumors circulate about an upcoming wedding with longtime friend Salim Karim.
- Similar past speculations about Mahira’s marriage were refuted by the actress.
Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan’s manager and team member, Anushay Talha Khan, responded to local media speculations concerning the renowned actor’s potential second marriage. The reports indicated that Mahira’s wedding ceremony might take place in September at a prominent hill station in Punjab, witnessed by close friends and family.
As per these reports, the actress is said to be marrying her longtime friend Salim Karim. However, Anushay Talha Khan addressed these claims as “irresponsible journalism” in her statement to Geo.tv. She highlighted that the articles lacked an official statement from Mahira Khan’s family or team. The actor’s manager neither confirmed nor refuted the news.
Notably, this isn’t the first instance of Mahira’s marriage rumors circulating on social media. Around four years ago, similar reports emerged suggesting a wedding between Mahira and Karim in Turkey. The acclaimed artiste, famous for her role in “Humsafar,” had denied those reports at the time.
Mahira Khan was previously married to Ali Askari in 2007, a relationship that ended in separation in 2015. The couple shares a son, Azlan, who is now 13 years old. Amidst the ongoing speculations, Mahira Khan’s team stresses the significance of authentic sources before accepting such claims as fact.
