Famous musicians Asim Azhar and Abdul Hannan have opted to delay the release of their eagerly anticipated songs in honor of the Pakistani people suffering due to a dire law and order situation in the nation.
The musicians are placing the well-being of people over their musical careers due to Pakistan’s ongoing political crisis and the rising hostilities between the army, the ruling coalition, and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Fans of Asim Azhar have been anticipating the release of a song he made with a female musician.
Nevertheless, he hesitated to make public and release new songs in these troubling times on his Instagram Stories. Azhar emphasized the duty of artists to promote unity and expressed his honest desire for love and tolerance to win out. He told his followers the wait would be worthwhile and assured them of a genuinely amazing musical experience.
“Dear fans, I understand you’ve been waiting for an update on the new single. But given the situation in my country [Pakistan], I believe it’s inappropriate to release or promote anything until normalcy is restored. As artists, we strive for love and tolerance in our surroundings. I pray for everyone’s well-being. Stay tuned, I promise it will be worth it.”

Abdul Hannan had also been looking forward to the debut of his song “Aankhon Aankhon Mein.” He had to postpone, though, because the recent events in Pakistan had a profound impact on him. The announcement was made on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “In light of recent events, the release has been postponed. My heart bleeds for the country and its people. I long for better times.”
