Intermittent rainfall continued in Lahore and surrounding areas on Thursday, causing temperatures to drop further, according to the report.
While some areas experienced light rain, other parts saw heavier showers. Light rain was reported from Anarkali, The Mall, GPO Chowk, Lukshmi Chowk, and nearby areas, while heavy rain was recorded in and around Campus Bridge. Showers were also observed in Jain Mandir, Mozang, Ferozepur Road, Janazgah, Multan Road, and other parts of the city.
The weather department said there was a 20 to 40 percent chance of rain in Lahore today, and the current spell of light rain is expected to continue for the next two days. The department also forecast dry and pleasant weather during the Eidul Fitr holidays.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 21 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will remain between 14 and 15 degrees Celsius. Breeze in the city was recorded at six kilometers per hour in the morning, with humidity at 65 percent.

Rainfall has also improved the city’s air quality, which ranked 10th most polluted in the world after the air quality index was recorded at 78 on Thursday.
Islamabad is also expected to receive rain today. Winds in the city will blow at four kilometers per hour, with morning humidity above 88 percent.
The Met Office on Thursday forecast rain along with snow over the mountains in different parts of the country for the next two days. Rain with snowfall is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Buner, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, Charsadda, Nowshera, Kohat, Hangu, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, and Dera Ismael Khan.
In Sindh, mostly partly cloudy weather is expected. However, rain is predicted for Karachi, Hyderabad, Dadu, Jacobabad, and Naushero Feroze.
