Yasir Hussain reacts to false death news, slams media reports

In an era dominated by clickbait and viral misinformation, Yasir Hussain, the well-known actor, writer, and entertainer, became the target of a bizarre and entirely false death claim.

This week, a YouTube thumbnail made headlines proclaiming fake news, such as “Iqra Aziz’s husband passed away suddenly,” creating a wave of confusion over the web.

This misleading caption swiftly gained massive attention, with several news outlets, including AAJ News, reporting the story without even verifying if it is true or not.

Famous for his witty and humorous nature, Yasir showed no hesitation in emphasizing the lack of journalistic morality.

Addressing the ridiculous news, Yasir took to his Instagram stories to shut down all claims to the news. Sharing a screenshot of the false headline, he humorously and bluntly criticized the irresponsible reporting system.

He wrote, “Seriously, [Aaj News] Journalism ka itna bura waqt b ana tha. Mei toh zinda hun magar AAJ News ki gherat ka janaza nikal chuka hai.” Earlier, the false news claimed that Yasir, Iqra Aziz’s husband, had passed away.

His response served as a reminder for media platforms to verify information before broadcasting it across their channels, particularly when it has sensitive matters such as someone’s life or death involved.
