Bollywood star Celina Jaitly files domestic violence case against husband

Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag, accusing him of emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, while seeking 500 million Indian rupees in compensation for loss of earnings.

The petition, filed in a Mumbai court on November 21, describes Haag as an “arcissist” and “self-absorbed individual” and requests ₹10 lakh monthly maintenance, custody of their three children, and a restraining order preventing him from entering her Mumbai residence.

Jaitly claims Haag restricted her from working after their children’s birth, destroying her financial independence and dignity. The couple, married since 2010, share twin boys Winston and Viraaj, and a younger son, Arthur.

The plea also mentions Haag filed for divorce in Austria in August 2024. Celina previously shared romantic posts about Haag, highlighting their journey through “many highs and many, many lows.”

Separately, she has approached a Delhi court regarding her brother, Major (r) Vikrant Jaitly, whom she alleges has been “illegally detained” in the UAE since September 2024, with authorities directed to facilitate communication while efforts continue to clarify his situation.
