YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, shared the difficult challenges he and his family endured during his 100-day ordeal following his arrest and eventual release in the gambling apps case.
In a vlog on his YouTube channel, he recounted the events after his arrest, alleging that NCCIA officials physically and verbally mistreated him and that the Additional Director had instructed a young child to use harsh language against him.
He also raised concerns about financial misconduct, claiming that IO Shoaib Riaz transferred around Rs 90 million from his Binance account to his personal account. “When I questioned, the officer did not respond,” he said. Ducky Bhai added that authorities later submitted a false report in court, stating that they had recovered the money from him.
He further said that his family had to borrow a Rs 6 million loan, which they handed over to NCCIA officers after they confiscated his wife Aroob’s phone and threatened to file an FIR against her to extort money.
Despite these allegations, Ducky Bhai expressed gratitude to FIA officials who supported his family by interviewing each member and filing the case properly. He noted that his experience taught him that “not all institutions are corrupt and that there are good people who serve as a means of justice.”
Reflecting on his 100 days in custody, he described the experience as extremely challenging but praised the Lahore High Court for granting him bail, calling it a moment of justice he will always respect.
He refrained from sharing every detail, saying a complete account would have made the video four hours long. Addressing rumours about leaving Pakistan, Ducky Bhai clarified that he has no plans to leave the country. “After eight years on YouTube, Pakistan has given me everything,” he said, affirming his commitment to stay despite recent challenges.
He also thanked Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Director General of Military Intelligence for their professionalism and support in helping his family navigate the situation and protect them from corrupt elements.
In the video, Ducky Bhai apologised to the nation if any of his content or promotions had caused harm, emphasising that his goal has always been to entertain and offer something new to his audience.
Ducky Bhai was arrested on August 16 at Lahore airport while travelling abroad over allegations of money laundering through gambling applications. The Lahore High Court later granted him bail against surety bonds of Rs 1 million and released him on November 26.
