Xiaomi has unveiled its latest kids’ smartwatch, the Mitu Kids Smartwatch 7X, in China, priced at 599 yuan ($83). This new version focuses on child safety with upgraded GPS features, offering accurate location tracking and alerts for parents if their child strays from their usual path or stays in one place too long.
The watch includes a 90-day history of the child’s movements, even offline, and can determine the child’s floor level within a building. It’s waterproof up to 20 meters and features a 1.68-inch HD screen, 18 sports modes, and 5 health monitoring functions.

Improvements in video calling include dual cameras for better clarity, while social features enable kids to connect with friends using WeChat and QQ. The watch also supports Xiao Ai assistant for weather updates and storytelling.
With a 950mAh battery and 4GB of storage, the Mitu Kids Smartwatch 7X promises long-lasting usage and the ability to install educational apps for children’s learning.
