The much-awaited anthem of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, titled “X Dekho,” has officially been released, setting the tone for another action-packed season of cricket.
The anthem features a powerful lineup of artists, with Punjabi music star Abrar-Ul-Haq making his PSL debut. He is joined by celebrated singer-songwriter Ali Zafar, the soulful Natasha Baig, who is also singing for the PSL for the first time, and the energetic rap artist Talha Anjum.
This track is designed to reflect the spirit, excitement, and passion of Pakistan’s premier cricket league, celebrating the bond between cricket, music, and fans across the nation.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer shared his thoughts in a statement: “The vision for this year’s anthem is to celebrate a milestone — ten years of PSL.
“The anthem is thus named X Dekho, representing pride over the achievements and the hurdles overcome by the HBL PSL over the last decade.”
He further said, “The four artists from different backgrounds, genres, and vocal ranges reflect the diversity of Pakistan’s talent. This year, the idea was to create a song that is fresh, yet familiar and resonates across fans globally.”
The 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to begin on Friday, April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United taking on two-time titleholders Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
A total of 34 matches will be played among six teams from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 games, including both Eliminators and the grand final.
Additionally, an exhibition match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators is expected to be held in Peshawar, though the new date is still to be confirmed after April 8 was earlier under consideration.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium are each set to stage five matches.
The tournament will include three double-header matchdays, with two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).
