The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) is offering fully funded Fulbright Scholarships for Pakistani students through the 2025 Fulbright Scholarship Program.
This initiative, supported by the US Department of State, covers Master’s and Ph.D. programs, providing financial support for tuition, textbooks, airfare, living stipend, and health insurance.
The goal is to eliminate financial barriers, allowing scholars to focus on their studies and fostering educational exchange and cultural understanding between the US and Pakistan.
The program particularly encourages applications from academically accomplished individuals committed to serving Pakistan. Including women, individuals with disabilities, and those in specified regions.
Applicants should note that all disciplines, excluding clinical medicine, are eligible. However, dual U.S./Pakistan nationals, individuals with close U.S. ties, current Fulbright awardees, employees/contractors of Fulbright, U.S. Department of State, or USAID, and their family members are ineligible.
Previous Fulbright awardees and individuals currently studying in the U.S. or holding specific visas elsewhere are also not eligible. The program seeks to nurture diverse talent dedicated to Pakistan’s development.
Eligibility criteria for the Master’s program require a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a combination totaling 16 years of education from an accredited university.
For the Ph.D. program, candidates need a Master’s, M.Phil, or equivalent degree. Indicating a minimum of 18 years of formal education from an accredited university.
To apply, candidates must submit an application form, three reference letters, and a GRE score report.
Scanned transcripts are required, preferably attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), although those attested by the issuing authority will be accepted.
This ensures a thorough and standardized assessment of academic qualifications for the selection process.
