The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has announced the admission schedule for its undergraduate programs in Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy, as per a report.
The timeline was finalized during a joint meeting of the Boards of Studies for both faculties, held on Monday.
The session was chaired by UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore and attended by academic leaders and principals from affiliated colleges.
As per the approved calendar, admissions for the Fall Semester 2025 will open in the first week of July and continue through the end of the month.
The Undergraduate Admission Test is planned for the first week of August, while the first merit list is expected in the third week. Regular classes for the fall term will begin on September 30, 2025.
For the Spring Semester 2026, the admission process will start in the last week of December.
Entry tests will be conducted in early February, followed by the release of the merit list in the third week. Classes for the spring term are set to start on March 30, 2026.
During the meeting, officials stressed the importance of providing robust clinical training. A key decision was made requiring all affiliated Allied Health institutions to have teaching hospitals with at least 200 beds.
The Vice Chancellor underscored that “instead of relying on Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with external healthcare facilities, institutions should develop in-house clinical training setups.”
This move aims to improve the consistency and standard of medical education. UHS will formally communicate this policy to the Allied Health Council.
