TikToker Asif Shah arrested at Multan airport after returning from Dubai

Authorities have taken TikToker Asif Shah into custody shortly after his arrival at Multan Airport from Dubai, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) confirmed.

An NCCIA spokesperson said Shah was already on the Provisional Control List (PCL) and the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) before his landing.

The spokesperson added that the National Commission for Child Rights, along with several international partners, helped in tracing and identifying the suspect.

Officials confirmed that a case has been filed against Shah under multiple sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). The agency has launched a thorough investigation to assess the extent of his alleged involvement in the crimes.
