Taylor Swift made Grammy history by winning Album of the Year for her 10th studio album, “Midnights,” marking her fourth win in that category. This achievement makes her the first artist ever to achieve four Album of the Year victories.
During her acceptance speech, Swift expressed her joy, noting that while winning the Grammy is incredible, she experiences similar happiness when finishing a song, perfecting a bridge, or preparing for a performance.
Swift’s record-breaking accomplishment surpassed iconic artists like Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon, who had each won the award three times.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend, praised her, stating she was rewriting the history books herself.
The singer also won the Best Pop Vocal Album award and used the opportunity to unveil her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” set to release on April 19.
A surprise appearance at the ceremony came from Céline Dion, who presented Swift with the final award.
