SkyWings Aviation, a private company, is on the verge of launching Pakistan’s first-ever air taxi service in the near future. This groundbreaking transportation option aims to provide convenient and accessible travel for passengers, with an online booking system to streamline the process.
Imran Aslam, the head of SkyWings Aviation, announced that the company has leased a state-of-the-art DA 40 Diamond series aircraft, which has recently arrived in Pakistan for aerial tours. This German-manufactured aircraft features a single engine and can comfortably accommodate up to four passengers at a time.
The primary focus of the air taxi service will be to offer emergency transportation to remote areas of Sindh and Balochistan from Karachi. With an impressive altitude capability of 2000 feet and a speed of 160 km per hour, this aircraft will facilitate swift travel. To enhance accessibility, an app will be introduced to enable users to easily book the air taxi service.
The introduction of this innovative mode of transportation is expected to revolutionize travel within Pakistan. Travelers will now be able to reach Gwadar in just three hours, and previously hard-to-reach destinations like Nawab Shah and Swat Valley will become easily accessible.
Moreover, the air taxi service will provide continuous flights of up to 11 hours with a single refueling, utilizing Jet Fuel One.
By offering a unique and efficient travel option, SkyWings Aviation’s air taxi service promises to reshape the travel landscape in Pakistan, providing unprecedented convenience and accessibility to passengers across the country.
