Salman Khan placed third in the top ten taxpayers’ list despite not releasing any films in 2024 and not getting any warm response in box office performance in 2023.
His earnings came primarily from brand endorsements, film ventures, and television projects. Salman Khan is currently working on a new movie, “Sikander,” which is expected to be released in 2025.
Amitabh Bachchan secured the fourth position on the high taxpayers’ list, paying £6.4 million. His recent hit movie, “Kalki 2898 AD,” earned £90 million at the box office.
Other names in the top ten tax-paying actors include Kapil Sharma (£4.2 million), Kareena Kapoor (£2 million), Shahid Kapoor (£1.3 million), and Katrina Kaif (£995,000).
Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar, a highly talented actor, is missing from this year’s list, but previously being the highest taxpayer.
In 2022, Akshay Kumar was awarded the Samman Patra by the Income Tax Department for his honest contributions and consistent record as the highest tax-paying celebrity.
