In Islamabad, a four-day visit by a Saudi Arabian delegation, led by Saudi Minister for Haj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfig bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, has commenced.
The delegation was warmly received at the Islamabad International Airport by various officials, including Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed, former minister Senator Talha Mahmood, and other dignitaries.
The delegation includes prominent representatives from Saudi Haj and Umrah Ministry, as well as officials from the Aviation and Tourism departments. During their stay in Islamabad, the Saudi Minister will engage in meetings with notable figures such as President Arif Alvi, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir.
The purpose of this visit underscores the close bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, particularly in matters related to religious affairs, tourism, and aviation. This collaborative engagement aims to strengthen ties and promote mutual understanding between the two nations.
