Priyanka Chopra has been selected as Grazia’s new international cover model. The actress has spoken openly about the erratic nature of her profession and her constant worry about getting dismissed.
Priyanka, 40, told Grazia that “My job is extremely inconsistent. I could get cancelled tomorrow, people could decide I’m not flavour of the month.”
Priyanka can be featured in one of the breathtaking cover images wearing a red low-cut dress that accentuates her physique. In others, she can be seen sporting an enormous pink suit and a brown hooded dress while looking stylish.
The Love Again actress was open about her miserable set experiences: “There were so many times I wanted to quit. I was tired of rejection. I felt dismissed and patronized on set, like people didn’t believe I could do my job even when Bollywood is as huge as it is.”
She continued, “I had taken such a big risk leaving my career in India and that really was a concern for me. I felt like I had bitten off more than I could chew.”
The actress continued, “My cousins and I all went to each other’s homes when parents were working – it’s a very Indian thing and Nick’s parents are hands-on too.” She acknowledged that both her parents and her in-laws help care for her daughter Malti.
The multi-talented actress, according to Hattie Brett, Editor-in-Chief of Grazia UK, is “the perfect star to appear simultaneously across 12 international editions of Grazia.”
