PCB announces schedule of New Zealand tour 2024

Lahore: On Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule for the New Zealand cricket team’s visit to Pakistan to play five T20I matches.

The Kiwis will reach Islamabad on April 14 and compete in matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi. The first three T20I matches are set for April 18, 20, and 21 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Following this, both teams will head to Lahore for the last two matches on April 25 and 27. All matches will kick off at 7 pm, with ticket prices kept affordable for fans.

This marks New Zealand’s third trip to Pakistan in 17 months. In December 2022/January 2023, they played two Tests and three ODIs, and in April, they participated in 10 white-ball matches in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.

Usman Wahla, Director of International Cricket, expressed delight at presenting the schedule, emphasizing the strong bond between PCB and NZC. He anticipated an exciting series leading up to the ICC T20 World Cup, reflecting the close relationship between the two cricketing nations.
