In May 2023, France and the rest of the globe will celebrate the first-ever France Alumni Day, the global celebration of foreign graduates from French higher education.
On May 23, the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Catherine Colonna, will hold a special event in the Ministry to honour alumni from all over the world.
All Pakistanis who received some of their education and professional training in France will be welcomed in Pakistan by the French Embassy, Campus France Pakistan, and France Alumni Pakistan on the occasion of three networking events for meeting and conversing with Embassy representatives, companies, and important figures in the following cities:
· Karachi on Friday 19th May
· Islamabad on Saturday 20th May
· Lahore on Sunday 28th May
The opening remarks for the events in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore will be delivered by the respective French ambassadors to Pakistan, Mr. Nicolas Galey, Mr. Alexis Chahtahtinsky, and Mr. Habib Anwar, Honorary Consul of France in Lahore.
The French Alumni Network in Pakistan will be introduced by the Campus France Pakistan officer and the Higher Education and Scientific Attaché of the French Embassy in Pakistan. The best Pak-France alumni will thereafter be given the opportunity to discuss their inspirational journeys. Alumni will also get the chance to network with people from the French community, company, and academia.
France Alumni Day was established in 2014 on the initiative of Mrs. Catherine Colonna, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Campus France has been coordinating and growing the France Alumni network since that time.
