Pakistan beats India 2-1 Karate Combat 45 in UAE

Karachi: Pakistan emerged victorious over India with a score of 2-1 in the Karate Combat 45 competition held in Dubai on Saturday night, with Shahzaib Rind delivering an impressive performance to secure the win against India’s Rana Singh.

Karate Combat is a professional martial arts league known for its full-contact karate matches. The league organizes events globally, featuring bouts between skilled fighters representing various weight classes and countries.

The outcome of the match between Pakistan and India was determined in the final round, following the victories of Pakistan’s Rizwan Ali and India’s Himanshu Kaushik in the initial two competitions of the match.

“Shahzaib Rind is just unstoppable inside the pit!” Karate Combat wrote on social media platform X. “Pakistan beats India 2-1 with this victory.”

The competition commenced with Ali facing India’s Pawan Gupta. Ali swiftly defeated Gupta, securing a knockout victory and tilting the match in Pakistan’s favor.

India equalized the score when Himanshu Kaushik triumphed over Pakistan’s Faizan Khan in the second fixture, bringing the tally to 1-1 before Rind’s decisive performance against Singh secured the overall victory for Pakistan at 2-1.

The showdown between India and Pakistan was highly anticipated, particularly due to the intense pre-match rivalry between fighters from both countries.

During a pre-match press conference on Friday, Rind and Singh engaged in a physical altercation, resulting in Rind slapping Singh before being separated by their respective team members. The incident was widely circulated on social media.
