CDA offers free yoga sessions in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: To promote a healthier lifestyle among the residents, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is initiating a series of free yoga sessions across Islamabad. Beginning on May 2nd, these sessions, organized by the CDA’s Sports and Culture Department, aim to enhance the city’s fitness scene.

Taking place at two prominent locations—the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz and Mehran Gate near Baradri in F-9 Park—the yoga classes will be held twice a day, from 6 am to 8 am and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, to accommodate varying schedules.

This initiative encourages people of all ages and genders to participate, highlighting the CDA’s commitment to overall well-being. By offering these sessions at no cost, the CDA emphasizes its dedication to empowering residents to prioritize both physical and mental health.

Additionally, the Department of Sports and Culture will introduce coaching classes for basketball, lawn tennis, and futsal, tailored for children under 16. These classes will take place at the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz and Sector G-11 Multipurpose Ground.

To facilitate easy participation, the Sports and Culture Wing has provided dedicated helpline numbers for addressing public queries and concerns promptly.
