Olivia Rodrigo took the stage as the musical guest on this week’s Saturday Night Live, sharing the spotlight with host Adam Driver.
The talented singer treated the audience to two performances from her Grammy-nominated album “Guts.” The first was a captivating rendition of “Vampire,” where Rodrigo showcased her piano skills.
She followed up with a dynamic performance of “All-American Bitch,” transforming the Studio 8H stage into a tea party setting and energetically destroying it, including stomping on cakes.
This marks Rodrigo’s second appearance on SNL, and in addition to her musical performances, she also participated in a sketch titled “Tiny Ass Bag,” adopting an accent to portray the tiny bag enthusiast Georgina.
Previously debuting on SNL in May 2021, Rodrigo performed tracks from her album “Sour.”
Rodrigo, who released her sophomore album “Guts” in September, is gearing up for a world tour set to kick off in February 2024.
The tour will feature opening acts such as Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, and the Breeders.
Among the notable acts to grace the SNL stage this season are Ice Spice, Boygenius, and Foo Fighters.
Looking ahead, Billie Eilish is scheduled to make her third appearance on the show next week, accompanied by host and former cast-member Kate McKinnon.
