The drilling of the Togh-02 well commenced on August 28, 2023, and reached a total depth of 2,600 meters measured depth (MD). Subsequently, a Cased Hole Drill Stem Test (CHDST-01) was conducted in the Lumshiwal-II Formation.
Following the analysis of wireline logs, the well exhibited promising outcomes, with a gas flow rate of 2.842 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) and 28 barrels per day of condensate (bpdc). Additionally, the wellhead flowing pressure was recorded at 540 pounds per square inch (PSI) with a 32/64” choke size.
This discovery marks a significant achievement for OGDCL and underscores the company’s dedication to enhancing Pakistan’s energy reserves, thereby contributing to the nation’s economic prosperity and energy security.
