As the relentless summer continues to hold its sway over various regions of the country, the Met Office has forecasted hot and humid weather for Lahore in the coming 24 hours.
Lahore Rain Forecast
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has also indicated the likelihood of rain, accompanied by wind and thundershowers, in isolated areas of Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, and their environs during the afternoon and evening.
Today’s Temperature in Lahore
During noon on Saturday, the temperature soared to 37°C, but it is expected to dip to 33°C as the evening approaches. The humidity level was recorded at approximately 60% in the metropolis, with winds blowing at a speed of 17km/h. The maximum UV Index reached 7, signifying high UV radiation levels, and visibility was around 1.6 km.
Lahore Air Quality
Lahore’s air quality index stood at 153, falling into the “very unhealthy” category. This poses immediate health risks to sensitive groups, while even healthy individuals may encounter difficulties in breathing and throat irritation with prolonged outdoor exposure. It is advisable to limit outdoor activities given the current air quality conditions.

Continental air masses are prevalent over most parts of the country. Dry weather is anticipated for the majority of regions; nevertheless, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas of Northeast Punjab, Southeast Sindh, Kashmir, and adjacent hilly terrains.
