Kate Middleton considers Australia tour with her children

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, recently discussed potential plans for a royal visit to Australia with her three children. She mentioned this during a public appearance at Wellington Barracks for St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

While speaking with an Australian military member at the event, Kate shared her hope to return to Australia as a family. “I’d love to take the children there now,” she said.

She acknowledged the difficulties of planning such trips but stressed the importance of mixing official engagements with family time.

Prince George, now 10, first visited Australia as an infant during a 2014 tour with his parents. Kate noted her eldest son still talks about that early trip. Princess Charlotte, 8, later joined her parents on a 2016 visit to Canada. Prince Louis, who turns seven in April, has not yet been part of an international royal tour.

Kate emphasized creating meaningful experiences during travels. “Historic sites are impressive, but meeting people matters most,” she explained. She wants her children to interact directly with local communities during official visits.

The Princess concluded with a hopeful remark: “Maybe we’ll visit sooner than expected.” Supporters now watch for updates, particularly about Prince Louis’ potential first official overseas journey with his family.
