The government of Sindh has announced that it will release the salary of Muslim employees in June earlier than usual, ahead of the upcoming Eid ul Adha, in order to support public employees during a period of soaring inflation. In a formal announcement made by the finance division, it has been stated that all Muslim employees working for the provincial government will receive their complete pay. Also including allowances and pension, for the month of June on June 23.
The finance department has directed all departments under the control of the Sindh government to release staff pay on June 23, instead of the previously scheduled date of July 1.
It is worth noting that, Climate according to the Data Processing Centre, the moon for Zil-Hajj is expected to be sighted on June 19 (Monday). The Meteorological Office predicts that the moon will be born on June 18 at 9:37 PM and will likely be visible on June 19.
As a result, the month of Zil-Hajj is expected to begin on June 20 (Tuesday), with Eid ul Adha being celebrated on June 29 (Thursday).
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee convenes on the 29th day of every Islamic month to officially declare the sighting of the moon.
