Karachi – Gold prices per tola have reached a new high in Pakistan, surpassing previous records. On Friday, the cost of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1100, bringing it to Rs 216,800 per tola. The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs 943, now standing at Rs 185,871, according to Sarafa international market.
Likewise, 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs 170,382. These changes are closely tied to fluctuations in the US Dollar’s value, indicating the significant influence of global economic factors on local gold markets.
In contrast, the price of 24-karat silver remained steady at Rs 2,570. Internationally, the global gold price rose by $10, reaching $2,067 per ounce.
