Karachi – Gold price in Pakistan resumed its upward trend, rising by Rs300 per tola, indicating a move to align with international gold rates.
According to data from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 300 per tola and Rs 257 per 10 grams, settling at Rs211,100 and Rs180,984, respectively.
This slight increase in gold prices was seen alongside a marginal $3 per ounce increase in the international market, reaching $2,013.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained steady at Rs 2,580, with the rate for 10 grams of silver remaining unchanged at Rs 2,212, as reported by the association.
