Five independent candidates who won seats in the recent elections on February 8 in Punjab have decided to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Among them are Sardar Shamsher Mazari, Imran Akram, Sohail Khan, Khizar Hussain Mazari, and Sahibzada Muhammad Gazain Abbasi. They met with PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and officially joined the party.

Shahbaz Sharif welcomed them into the PML-N and expressed the party’s commitment to serving the people and addressing the country’s challenges.
The PML-N is actively working on forming governments both at the federal and provincial levels and is engaged in negotiations with other political parties like the Pakistan People’s Party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan.
