Following heavy snowfall in Mansehra, the Babusar Top and Naran Jhalkhud roads have been completely closed for all traffic.
Police advised tourists and travelers heading to Gilgit in freezing temperatures to take the alternate Silk Road route.
Due to severe weather, Mansehra Police temporarily removed check posts from Gatidas, Jhalkhad, and Besar, while all hotels and restaurants from Mansehra Barwai to Babusar Top have also shut down. However, travel between Naran and Barwai remains open for visitors.
