Actor and comedian Ewen Macintosh, famous for his role as Keith in the UK version of ‘The Office’, has sadly passed away at the age of 50.
His management team confirmed the news on Wednesday, expressing gratitude for the support received, particularly from Willow Green Care Home where he had been staying.
They announced a private cremation for family and close friends, with plans for a memorial later in the year.
Close friend Ed Scott shared his devastation on social media, highlighting Macintosh’s qualities beyond his on-screen persona.

He emphasized Macintosh’s empathy, kindness, and integrity, describing him as a genuinely good person.
Ricky Gravis, the creator of ‘The Office’, also paid tribute, remembering Macintosh as a uniquely funny and kind individual.
Macintosh, who hailed from Merionethshire, had been part of ‘The Office’ since its inception in 2001.
In addition to his role as Keith, he appeared in other popular shows like ‘Miranda’ and ‘Little Britain’, as well as making a cameo on ‘Celebrity Come Dine with Me’.
