After reductions in petrol, diesel and kerosene prices, jet fuel has also seen a notable decrease.
According to aviation sources, the cost of jet fuel used for commercial aircraft has been reduced by Rs48.80 per litre, bringing the new price down to Rs283.52 per litre.
Sources said the total reduction in jet fuel rates has now reached up to Rs283 per litre overall.

It is also noted that before the conflict in the Middle East began on February 28, jet fuel was priced at Rs 188 per litre. Meanwhile, the government recently announced a significant reduction in petrol and diesel prices for one week.
A statement issued from the Prime Minister’s House said that petrol and diesel prices had been reduced by Rs 22 per litre each.
