YouTuber Ducky Bhai granted bail in online gambling promotion case

The Lahore High Court has approved the bail request of YouTuber Saad ur Rahman, known as Ducky Bhai, in the case accusing him of promoting online gambling apps.

Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry granted him bail against surety bonds of Rs1 million, noting that the Supreme Court has already ruled that refusing bail in such matters is generally “unusual.”The court had listened to arguments from both sides before announcing its decision.

Ducky Bhai was earlier arrested by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency at Lahore Airport when immigration staff flagged his name on the Provisional National Identification List.

He was reportedly trying to leave the country while facing an ongoing investigation into multiple charges, including the promotion of gambling-related mobile applications.

His petition argued that the accusations did not justify his continued custody and sought post-arrest bail on that basis.
