Areas like Sibi, Dadu, and Nawabshah will likely experience extreme heat, with temperatures soaring up to 48°C.

Meanwhile, Sukkur and Turbat could see highs of 46°C, while Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Multan may reach 42°C to 43°C.

Lahore is expected to hit 40°C. Authorities have advised the public, especially senior citizens, children, and women, to take precautions, stay hydrated, and avoid direct sun exposure to prevent heat-related illnesses.

In contrast, a shallow westerly wave is expected to enter northern Pakistan on Tuesday evening and last until April 11.

This weather system is likely to bring dust and thunderstorms, along with occasional rainfall, to regions including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, the Pothohar region, and northeast Punjab.

Some areas may also experience isolated hailstorms, while dust storms and gusty winds are expected in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during this period.
