Nauman Ijaz recently gave his take on how people behaved during Ramadan, emphasizing how many failed to practice patience despite the holy month’s teachings.
During a break on the set of a shoot, while appearing in Jibran Nasir’s blog, Nauman Ijaz pointed out that many people become more aggressive instead of practicing self-control.
He expressed disappointment, saying that Ramadan’s sanctity is not upheld as Islam instructs. He particularly criticized how people tend to lose their temper over minor inconveniences.
He highlighted driving as a prime example. He said “Pakistanis observe fasts, but they don’t have control over themselves”, adding that many resort to foul language even while fasting.

He also discussed the reckless behavior he often witnessed at traffic signals, where drivers ignored rules in their rush to move ahead. “Our worst behavior comes out this month Ramadan,” he stated.
Nauman Ijaz pointed out that although people struggle with their behavior throughout the year, they should at least show restraint during Ramadan.
However, he noted that tempers flare even in this sacred month. His comments struck a chord with many social media users, who agreed with his observations.
Several people also added their own experiences, highlighting how unnecessary arguments and conflicts during fasting reduce the spiritual essence of Ramadan.
