Gold prices have dropped in both international and local markets. In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $8 per ounce, settling down at $2,743.
In the local market, the price of 24-carat gold decreased by 750 rupees per tola, now priced at 283,700 rupees. The price of gold per 10 grams also dropped by 641 rupees, bringing it to 245,799 rupees.
This change follows a day when gold prices had seen a significant rise. On the previous day, the price of 1 tola of gold increased by 4,250 rupees, reaching 287,450 rupees, while the price for 10 grams surged by 3,642 rupees to 246,440 rupees.
Additionally, silver prices experienced a small decline. The price of 1 tola of silver dropped by 30 rupees to 3,401 rupees, and the price per 10 grams fell by 26 rupees to 2,915 rupees
