Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, famously known as the “Chhote Nawab,” was injured during an attempted robbery at his residence in Bandra Mumbai.
The incident took place around 2:30 am, after which Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for immediate medical attention.
According to Indian media reports, an unknown person attempted to break into Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s home with the intent to commit robbery. When Saif confronted the intruder, the attacker attacked him with a knife and then escaped the scene.
The police confirmed that Saif suffered major injuries in the argument and is currently undergoing surgery at Lilavati Hospital.
Statements from family members and witnesses are being recorded as part of the investigation. Authorities are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect.
Fans have expressed concern for Saif’s health and are eagerly awaiting updates on his condition. Kareena Kapoor Khan thanked fans in a statement, saying she and the children are safe and requested privacy during this difficult time.
“There was an attempted robbery in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night,” Kareena said. “Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure.”
