Gold prices in Pakistan went up a bit on Friday, following a similar trend globally. Silver prices are also going up, with the price per tola reaching Rs2,900. After a small drop on Thursday.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the price of 24-karat gold has risen by Rs300 per tola, now at Rs257,700.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs256, bringing it to Rs220,936.
Gold prices worldwide have also been on the rise, with the rate per ounce increasing by $7 to reach $2,461.
In the local market, silver prices are following a similar trend. The price of silver per tola has gone up by Rs50, bringing it to Rs2,900.
