In Quetta, the price of LPG has gone up by 20 rupees per kilogram, with market sources noting that it has risen from 380 to 400 rupees per kilogram.
In nearby areas, LPG is being sold at even higher rates, reaching as much as 430 rupees per kilogram.
The increase in prices comes amid a supply disruption from the gas pipeline on Quetta’s Western Bypass, which has led to higher demand in the city.
