Pakistan Railways has temporarily suspended the operation of eight passenger trains due to increasing operational costs and a decline in passenger numbers on several routes.
The affected services include Bolan Mail, Khushhal Khan Khattak Express, Mehran Express, Chaman Passenger, Marvi Express, Saman Sarkar Express, Moenjodaro Express and Ravi Express.
A spokesperson for Pakistan Railways said the decision was taken because rising operating expenses have made it difficult to continue running some train services.

According to railway officials, recent increases in fuel prices have significantly raised operating costs, placing additional financial strain on the department. The situation has been made worse by low passenger demand on certain routes.
Officials said the suspension is temporary and the trains will resume operations once conditions improve.
Pakistan Railways is currently assessing fuel costs and passenger demand before making a decision on restoring the suspended services.
