The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) issued a fresh 24-hour weather forecast for Karachi on Saturday, predicting dry and cool conditions for the city.
According to the department, Karachi will experience a steady spell of cool weather, with strong winds and lower temperatures expected to continue through the day.
The minimum temperature is likely to hover around 14°C, bringing noticeably cool nights as dry winds move through various parts of the city from the early morning hours.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 28°C and 30°C, offering mild warmth, though the strong, dry breeze will lower humidity and make the weather feel cooler outdoors.
Experts say this weather pattern is normal for this time of year, and they advise residents to prepare for colder evenings, as temperatures can dip quickly after sunset in several areas.
The PMD added that Karachi will see firm, steady winds throughout the day, and with moisture levels remaining low, the air will stay dry both day and night.
Health officials have warned that the ongoing dry cold is leading to an increase in seasonal ailments, with more people reporting flu, chest congestion, throat irritation, and difficulties related to asthma this week.
