Karachi temperatures set to fall sharply in coming weeks

The Pakistan Meteorological Department says Karachi is experiencing cold and dry conditions, with warm days and chilly nights likely to continue for the next several days.

On Sunday, the city’s temperature dropped to 16 degrees Celsius in the morning and rose to 32 degrees later in the day, with humidity at 75 percent and light dry winds blowing in from the northeast.

Officials added that Karachi won’t feel the true arrival of winter until mid-December, when temperatures are expected to fall more sharply, bringing noticeably cooler days and colder nights.
