Gold prices rose sharply on Saturday after a 23-dollar increase in the international market pushed the global rate to 4,065 dollars an ounce.
Following this jump, the local market in Pakistan also saw a strong upward movement, with the price of one tola of gold climbing by 2,300 rupees to reach 428,862 rupees.
The rate for ten grams went up as well, increasing by 1,972 rupees to 367,680 rupees. The rise in global prices directly influenced the domestic market, leading to another round of costly gold rates for buyers across the country.
