Gold rate stable at Rs361,200 per tola in Pakistan after sharp rise

KARACHI: The rate of 24 karat gold remained unchanged at Rs361,200 per tola on Tuesday, according to the latest data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

This comes a day after the domestic gold market witnessed a notable surge of Rs3,600 per tola, pushing prices close to their all-time high of Rs363,700 per tola.

Rates for 10 grams of 24 karat and 22 karat gold also stayed unchanged at Rs309,671 and Rs283,865, respectively.

Meanwhile, silver prices saw a rise, with per tola silver going up by Rs23 to reach Rs4,035, and 10 grams increasing by Rs20 to Rs3,459.

Internationally, the gold price remained unchanged at $3,387, while silver rose by $0.23 to $38.88, the Association added.
