Flight operations across Pakistan faced major disruption today as 92 flights to Gulf countries were cancelled amid rising tensions in the Middle East involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran. The situation has caused difficulties for passengers travelling for jobs, business, and family visits.
Reports show that Faisalabad continued limited operations, with 12 flights departing for Dubai, Sharjah, and Jeddah.
Islamabad was affected the most, where 28 flights to and from Doha, Al Ain, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Kuwait were cancelled.
Lahore also saw heavy disruption, with 25 flights cancelled on routes including Doha, Bahrain, Najaf, Kuwait, Dubai, Fujairah, and Al Ain.
In Peshawar, 18 flights to Al Ain and Fujairah were called off.
At Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, 9 flights scheduled for Doha, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai were cancelled.
