CNG stations in Peshawar and several other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remain shut, leaving commuters and daily wage workers facing growing difficulties.
Reports indicate that gas outlets in Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, and Karak have been closed due to an ongoing gas shortage.
Residents complain that the shutdown, along with up to 16 hours of gas load shedding, has disrupted their daily lives. They say gas is unavailable not only at CNG stations but also in homes, making it hard for families to meet basic needs.
Commuters and transport operators say the prolonged closure has badly hit their livelihoods. Many drivers share that they spend hours waiting outside stations, losing both time and earnings.
Daily wage workers have voiced their frustration, saying it has become increasingly difficult to work and earn without fuel for their vehicles.
People have appealed to the authorities to take urgent action to address the gas crisis and resume CNG supply to avoid further economic strain.
