On Friday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000, settling at Rs357,100 compared to Rs358,100 a day earlier, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs858 to Rs306,155 from Rs307,013, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs786 to Rs280,652 from Rs281,438.
Silver prices stayed unchanged, with per tola at Rs4,072 and 10 grams at Rs3,491.
In the international market, gold fell by $10 to $3,344 from $3,354, whereas silver remained steady at $38.39.
