A petitioner passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest after attending the hearing of his case in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad, as per a report.
Abid Hussain, 70, filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding the construction of his house on July 22, 2024. His case was listed at Serial No. 8 under the title “Mohammad Ramzan versus Abid Hussain.”
Following the hearing on Friday, Abid Hussain suffered a heart attack at the reception area of the Supreme Court.
The case was heard by a two-member bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Malik Shehzad, who later adjourned the proceedings.
The first hearing of the case took place on November 11, 2025, making Friday’s session the second hearing.
