On Monday, fans of the K-Pop ensemble BTS gathered in Seoul’s city center to celebrate the group’s tenth anniversary. Despite the group being on hiatus and two of its members currently serving mandatory military service. The devoted worldwide following, known as “ARMY,” assembled in Seoul this week.
BTS, a seven-member group that laid the foundation for K-Pop’s global success. Particularly in the U.S. music charts and industry awards, has garnered a substantial international fan base.
Visitors from France, Mexico, and various other countries traveled to Seoul to witness landmarks like Seoul City Hall and Namsan Tower being illuminated in BTS’ iconic shade of purple. The sight of Namsan Tower bathed in purple mesmerized the visitors.

Seoul officials aim to enhance tourism by organizing celebrations that will span approximately two weeks. A spectacular fireworks display is scheduled at a park near the Han River on Saturday night. Following a live online talk by one of the BTS singers, RM, engaging with fans.
Furthermore, businesses and organizations are actively participating in the celebrations. The city of Seoul is collaborating with BTS’ management agency to organize a tour of locations related to BTS. In commemoration of BTS’ debut anniversary, the South Korean postal service has issued special commemorative stamps which will be available from city by tomorrow.
