Gold prices in Pakistan have once again crossed the Rs500,000 mark per tola amid fluctuations in the global market.
Local jewellers reported that the price of gold rose by Rs15,700, reaching Rs504,162 per tola today. The price per gram also increased by Rs13,460, closing at Rs432,237.
On the international market, gold gained $157 per ounce, bringing the global rate to $4,814 per ounce. Silver prices in the local market also went up, with the per tola rate rising by Rs440 to Rs8,184.
